CAMPI or the Chamber of the
Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines has released their
cumulative sales figures for their members and associates from
January to September.
Take note that manufacturers /
distributors such as Motorimage (Subaru), Chery, Jaguar, Land
Rover, Ferrari, Maserati and CATS Motors (Mercedes-Benz, Jeep,
Dodge, Chrysler) are not CAMPI members. They do not report
their sales to CAMPI.
In summary, Toyota Motor
Philippines has a commanding lead in both the passenger car and
commercial vehicle segments with 34.02 percent and 38.85 percent
market share respectively. The country's best-selling
vehicle is by far, the Toyota Innova selling 7,068 units from
January to September of this year.
